Gelatin Silver Prints—Thurman Street

Ursula K. Le Guin describes Thurman Street as a “street that crosses America.” This series of 95 photographs are displayed in my collaboration with Le Guin, Blue Moon Over Thurman Street. Shot in 35 mm black and white during the late 1980’s, this series captures life on the street at a point of change when the northwest neighborhoods of Portland were experiencing gentrificaiton.
